FYI: The recent Board mtg. shortened the ammount of time required to become a chapter. Under the new guidelines, it is now possible (actually its virtually impossible for this not to happen) for a group to go from prospect (step 1) to chartered (last step) in the span of two semesters.
Petitioning group at UAH is working on their chartering package currently.

I spoke with two brothers from tuskegee at supper club one night...and have e-mailed another brother from there since then about being a part of our service and/or fellowship activities. they told me they were interested, but i haven't heard anything since then. we can say we have tried, but the results have been slim.

Has anyone heard anything or tried to contact the brothers at Tuskegee? It would be nice to see Delta do some service or fellowship with those guys.

I don't think you guys have a guestbook, but you do have a phenomenal Message Board.
My name is Kenneth Seli from the Gamma Beta Chapter in San Jose State University, California, and I am also a representative of Section IV Staff. I thought it would be approrpriate to post here because it was about members from other chapters.
Anyway, website looks good. Drop us a line anytime.

In actuality, we should be focusing our extension efforts more with the struggling chapters in our section, helping them to establish solid programs and practices rather than being concerned with "extension efforts" here on campus. Our Rush and Service Program handle that quite effectively, and if other organizations wish for us to be involved with or assist them, then they must contact us and make that request. We don't have the resources or the ability to go forth and seek out those organizations in need of help of one form or another, and then bend our schedules around them. If they want our help, they can ask us. We should focus our extension efforts on other chapters of A Phi O within our section, and assist where needed, and engage in fellowship to assist promoting these Principles that we hold dear to our hearts.

Doing a joint O Phi A project was not my idea of membership extension. My question related to other Chapters of A Phi O, and in particular the ones that are our Little Brother Chapters. We'll get to check up on two of them this weekend at Cosby (Gamma Chi and the petitioning group at UAH.)

Actually, Brad is an advisor to the group at UAH not UAB. I have no idea how the UAB group is doing. One of the O Phi A sisters said that she has a friend that is joining the West GA A Phi O chapter, and that they want to do a joint service project with us and the O Phi A chapter here on campus.
